Pugneys Country Park, Wakefield, Yorkshire - July 8th 2012
Set in the beautiful Pugneys Park near Wakefield the swim is in the vast 100 acre lake used for watersports anda great opportunity to swim in open water. The bike takes you through some superb Yorkshire countryside and the run is an off road run around Pugneys Lake.
Set minutes from tyhe M1 the triathlon is easily accessible from all corners of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. The park is a great place to bring the family as there are many vantage points to watch the swim and run.

Book before 2012
Bookings are surprisingly strong considering the economic outlook. We believe this is due to 2012 being Olympic Year and the excitement that Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee are providing the Triathlon community. We advise early booking as all of our venues are capacity constrained and we suggest booking before Christmas. You can check out our other events on the 'SERIES' Tab.
Series Championship
There will be excellent prizes for the winner of the Male and Female series Sprint and Olympic winners. Results will be based on your best three results out of all events entered.
· Fastest swimmer at each distance
· Fastest Bike at each distance
· Fastest Runner at each distance
For those of us who don't expect to podium we are offering Spot Prizes that will also be awarded to people who have entered three or more events whatever their performance and will probably geared towards personal improvement and the most raised for charity.

My Triathlon Series
The 2012 My Triathlon race series has been launched with six triathlons at five venues. There will be prizes at each event and a special series winner for each race distance. Sponsorship such as wetsuits will be announced and will include prizes for the series winners. So that everyone has a chance of winning we will also have spot prizes such as most improved triathlete. There will be prizes for the fastest swimmer, cyclist and runner.
